The Intermediate
Rider Course is approximately 8 hours long, and is done completely
on the range. If you are taking the class to waive the DOL testing
requirements for 2-wheeled only motorcycle endorsement, the class
includes a written and riding test. A Completion Card will be
mailed to you to take to the DOL upon successful completion of
the course. If you are attending for the purposes of obtaining
a license waiver you will not be allowed to ride the course with
a passenger. |
|
NOTE:
If you are under 18 years of age you must take the Novice
Rider Course in order to obtain your license endorsement. The
Intermediate Rider Course will not meet the requirements of the
Dept. of Licensing for the purpose of licensing a 16 or 17 year
old to ride a motorcycle. |
|
Pacific
NorthWest Motorcycle Safety has a strict "8 days
from the class" cancellation and/or reschedule policy.
If you need to cancel your registration or reschedule we must
hear from you more than 8 days prior to the class start
hour/date. If you don't contact us or call more than 8 days before
your class starts, any money paid for a class will be forfeit
and there will be NO refunds. |
|
IMPORTANT!
PLEASE READ: |
|
1. You must be able
to get your bike to the range legally, which means that if
you don't already have a motorcycle endorsement you must have
a Learner's Permit. If you ride your bike to the class,
the instructor will request to see one or the other. If you have
niether, you could trailer your bike to the range. |
|
2. There are noise
restrictions at Sand Point Magnuson Park so you must have
stock exhaust pipes on your bike. They MUST be
the original pipes or the same as original pipes that were on
the bike when it was new from the factory. This also means before
any dealer modifications. The instructor will be checking for
this in the routine safety inspection. For further explanation
go to Noise Restrictions at Sand
Point |
|
3. The minimum
liability insurance is required on your motorcycle for
you to attend this class. Make sure that you bring your insurance
card with you. The instructor will request to see it. |
|
4. You must provide
proof of ownership of the bike you are going to
ride in the class. Normally, the registration on the bike with
your name on it will meet this requirement. If the bike is not
yours, you must have a written, notorized letter from the owner
giving you permission to ride the bike. The bike and you must
still meet all the above requirements. |
|
If you show up
at the class without proof of any of the above, incorrect riding
gear as outlined in the faq
pages, or anything other than stock pipes on your bike, the instructor
is authorized to send you home and your money WILL NOT be refunded. |
